Play Poster Project

This project was for my Graphic Design II class, I was tasked with designing a play poster for the upcoming production at the Center for Creative and Performing Arts at Guilford Technical Community College. The client requested that the poster reflect the essence of the show which is a wacky, silly comedy set in 1960s England. The design prompt required a minimalist style, incorporating type and imagery effectively while applying design principles and utilizing computer skills, hand skills, or illustration techniques as needed. I’m thrilled to share that my poster design was selected as the official poster for Black Comedy at the Center for Creative and Performing Arts at Guilford Technical Community College!
